My Journey
This page shares more about who I am beyond my academic and professional experience. From my background and personal growth to the experiences that shaped my interest in digital marketing, each part of my journey has contributed to who I am today. Through challenges, new environments, and meaningful connections, I have developed a strong passion for learning, adapting, and building relationships.

Background
I was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and moved to the United States with my family in 2021, where I experienced a completely new culture, environment, and education system. Adjusting to this change was challenging at first, but it helped me become more adaptable, independent, and open to new perspectives. These experiences have played a key role in shaping both my personal growth and my approach to learning.

Growth
Having studied in a non-coeducational system, transitioning into a coeducational environment in the United States was initially uncomfortable, especially when communicating and collaborating with the opposite gender. Over time, I have grown more confident, open, and effective in diverse social and professional settings.

A meaningful part of my identity comes from my Bangladeshi background. Although I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, I grew up speaking Bengali at home while learning English in school. Bangladesh is the only country that fought to preserve its mother language, which makes language and cultural identity especially important to me. This background has shaped my perspective and strengthened my ability to connect with people from diverse communities.

Future & Passion
Through my experiences in school and internships, I discovered how impactful networking and communication can be. Learning about people, understanding different perspectives, and building meaningful connections genuinely excites me. Growing up, I watched my dad build strong relationships as a marketing specialist, and that inspired me to pursue a path where business and people come together.

Having graduated from Baruch College, my Co-op at Brown Brothers Harriman opened my eyes to how much I enjoy working with data, systems, and client operations - sides of business I hadn't fully explored before. I'm now channeling that experience into pursuing a corporate or data-driven role where I can continue growing. Looking ahead, I also plan to pursue a master's degree to further strengthen my expertise.
